Steps to Connect Through Your Soul Senses with Another
My work is in techniques for psychic (soul) connection. My specific field is to refine and define pathways for that connection. I share greater insights in some of my teachings and video presentations. I am offering a simplified version here.
Your goal is to find what works for you. There are a number of techniques to connect. I offer one method here. You may find that this is oversimplified or too detailed for you. With practice and discernment you will streamline your own technique.
The following are suggested steps to connect for communication
(The simplified version: steps 2, 3, 4, 5 & 7. The really simplified version: talk & listen.)
Steps for talking with any being:
Get quiet. Relax your mind.
Turn your attention and focus your awareness on the being you want to connect with.
Picture your message in your mind or “talk” to them through your thoughts.
Accept and be open to what comes back into your minds awareness immediately. (After that first thought, your ego jumps in to discredit or embellish.)
Trust what you get.
Maintain a keen Awareness to Physical and Soul Experiences (Sensations/Perceptions).
Continue the dialog back and forth.
The steps above are useful when you are connecting with a being that you set the intention to connect with. It is like making a direct dial phone call. You want to chat with a certain someone, animal, plant, rock, mother earth, angel, Divine Consciousness, etc.
If you are asking to be connected to the Highest Truth and therefore are opening yourself up to chat with just “anyone” then I recommend you add step 8.
Check this is a being that you want to connect and communicate with.
Ask for a sign to confirm your connection.
Say thanks if you have received guidance.
Fill up on the love of God.
“Disconnect” and ground in the physical.
Steps in greater detail:
Get quiet. Relax your mind.
You can choose to sit and give the conversation your undivided attention. So get quiet and relax your mind. OR You can chat through your inner soul senses while you are doing other things. I often chat while cleaning the house or driving the car or walking the dog...
Turn your attention and focus your awareness on the being you want to connect with.
This is easy and quick. It is as simple as looking at a friend and striking up a conversation in the physical. Your intention to connect begins the connection and conversation. If the being is physically present skip to step 3. If the being is not physically near you, just picture the being in your mind’s eye or call on them with words spoken through your thoughts.
Picture your message in your mind or “talk” to them through your thoughts.
I know you know how to do this. Most people have conversations in their head all the time.
Accept and be open to what comes back into your mind’s awareness immediately. (After that first thought, your ego jumps in to discredit or embellish.)
Once you have asked or said something, the being will respond in some form. It will be the first thing that pops into your mind’s awareness. Different beings connect and communicate in different ways. Be familiar with the language of the soul and each of the senses that can be used to communicate to you as well as from you. When in need, see Help section below.
Trust what you get.
Let them be and say what they will. It is often not what you would expect. It often comes right back to you in your own thoughts, in your own voice, though some may experience it in a voice that doesn’t sound like them at all. Sometimes the communication comes as a knowing and not through any of the inner soul senses. Trust what you get and roll with it, as you develop this skill and practice you will come to easily discern your own embellishments from the truth of the experience.
Maintain a keen Awareness to Physical and Soul Experiences (Sensations/Perceptions).
This is important, especially in the beginning of your practice. This will help you sort how you get communication information. Some may get it through all of their inner senses, some only a few. I like to back the words that I hear with how the connection feels. When I feel my connection drop, I raise my awareness higher, or ask, “What did you say? Did you say ‘such and such?’ Or I ask for assistance to make a clearer connection. But I back my hearing, seeing and knowing with feeling my way through the connection. Sometimes it helps to put your hand on your heart to remind us all that this is a connection through the heart center even though the communication often comes through the mind. Your heart will guide you.
Continue the dialog back and forth.
Depending upon who I am chatting with and for what reason, I may choose to write out my dialog. Angels and God often answer my questions before I ask them. So time with them can be more of a “download” of knowing than an actual back and forth dialog. Sometimes I just sit and ask God, “What do you want me to know today?” Risky question because sometimes God has me looking in the mirror to do a little housekeeping on my soul. (Oh joy.) But always it is done with love, always. Because….yes, you know it. God is love so God would only act from Love. So there is that.
If this is a new being whom you have never met before, you can ask, “Are you of Truth?” or “Are you of the Light?” or “Are you of God?” (insert your choice name for God) How does the connection feel? (Remember that you can stop any connection if it is not one you want to be a part of.)
Asking for a sign.
When you chat with an angel or a loved one, you can ask for a sign in the physical to confirm your connection. Make sure you thank them when you do see the sign. Don’t go looking, spirit usually likes surprises. Types of signs you could ask for: Let me hear your name or see your name in print. Let me see someone who looks like you. Let me see a heart, flower, etc. Or you can ask, “Can you send a sign?” and if you hear a yes, ask, “What will it be?” then see or listen for what you get. Thank them in advance for the sign.
Say thanks if you have received guidance. This is an obvious use of manners here. (Though I don’t thank my dog for chatting with me.)
Fill up on the love of God.
This is done with intention. You can even breathe it in.
“Disconnect” and ground in the physical.
When you “hang up the phone” or close off the connection, you might want/need to come back into your body. Now, when I am walking around, eyes open, chatting with the language of my soul to trees, animals, loved ones, and God, I don’t feel the need to ground. I feel grounded already.
However, when I am sitting in my chair with eyes closed and talking to God or working with the Angels or channeling in front of a group, then I do need to pull back into myself. This is necessary because I have in essence “left my body” to connect more fully to spirit. Don’t freak out here. You probably leave your body when you dream- day or night. Right?!
How does it feel to be ungrounded? It could feel like you are a bit lightheaded, dizzy, disoriented, and visually wavy. If any of these are the case, just take a deep breath in and picture all of your energy that might be in the space above your head, picture it flowing back into you. Breathe it in all the way to your feet. Then imagine running that energy into the ground. You won’t feel light headed when you do this. But if you do feel light headed, lie down and take a nap, maybe you need a break, ask your angels to help clear and heal you.
To strengthen your skills in soul communication connections: keep an open mind, be humble, have integrity, practice, and learn from your experiences.
Help:
If you need help, go higher. Ask an angel to help.
Remember that you can stop any connection that you don’t want to be a part of.
Interference: fear, disbelief, over eagerness (can lead to embellishments).
Make this a Spiritual Practice.
Practice.
Practice.
All my best, Constance
