Welcome to My Blog!

I thought I’d start off with instructions that I put together back in 2009. They still hold true and will give you a basic foundation for communication on a soul-to-soul level. The rest won’t be as lengthy as this, I promise!

Basic Steps for Communication

When you communicate back and forth through your mind and thoughts, you are engaging in what is called psychic communication. Psychic comes from the word psyche, which means soul or spirit. Your soul is that part of you that communicates through your mind, not your physical body.

While your physical body can be in one place, the awareness of your soul can be engaged elsewhere. It simply takes a shift in your awareness.

There are three key factors for psychic communications 1) intention 2) the ability to focus your awareness and 3) the belief in what is happening.

Although there are a number of ways to communicate, here are the basic steps when using just your inner thoughts to talk and hear one another:

1. Focus your thoughts toward them when you speak to them. Talk to them in your mind. Believe that your words are going straight to his mind and thoughts. Talk back and forth in your own language. It’s your meaning, behind the words, that matters most.

2. Be quiet and listen carefully for their response. It will be the first thing that pops into your head.

3. To hear them talk, you have to focus your mind and thoughts on hearing him. The voices usually sound like you, like your own thoughts. You hear their words back in your head just as you hear your own thoughts. They may sound different and have different accents, and the words can come to you quickly or slowly.

Exception: Some people can hear them in a voice that sounds different from their own.

4. Focus on one being at a time. Hearing several at once might be overwhelming, just as if numerous people were trying to talk to you simultaneously.

5. The being does not need to be in the same room with you when you are communicating with him. This is called remote communication.

Those are the basic steps when you use your inner hearing and thought transference as your primary method of communication.

Four of the Different Ways to Get Information

What we know about psychic awareness is growing and changing as our awareness to it grows and changes. My work is to help refine and define techniques of and pathways to psychic communication, connection, and awareness. There are many old terms that don’t exactly fit for the experience that is really occurring. I have coined some new terms that I feel are more suitable. As for Extra-Sensory Perception (E.S.P.), I think it would be better named as Soul-Sensory Perception (S.S.P.). Since that’s what’s really happening.

Truly though, communication is an act of sending and receiving. But I will focus mostly on the receiving end, and therefore perception it is.

I’ll cover the four main ways to get communication information: Soul-Sensory Perception, Shared-Sensory Experience, Empathic Connection, and Non-Sensory Awareness. I’ve listed each of these ways below and added their descriptions. Within each of these four ways, I’ve broken down their subsets for a deeper look at the specific methods within each one.

1. Soul-Sensory Perception (S.S.P.)

Soul-Sensory Perception is perception by means that are outside of the recognized physical senses. S.S.P. occurs as strong or subtle soul sense impressions within your mind and/or body’s awareness. It’s the ability to acquire sensory information (hear, see, physically feel, emotionally feel, taste, and smell) by something other than our usual physical abilities (using the ears, eyes, skin, heart, tongue, and nose) or by deduction from a past experience. However, I am sure you have to use reason to understand what a message may mean.

When you talk with someone on a soul level, you send sensory information to convey a message. To use S.S.P., you just think of or imagine the sense experience in your mind. You can use some or all of these senses to communicate with the being. The being might use some or all of these senses to get a message across to you too. S.S.P. occurs from an outsider’s perspective. The information comes to you and goes from you to another. You are separate.

Each of these psychic senses has their own specific term. Those terms come from the French language. The first part of each word is clair, which translates to “clear” in English. The second part of the word has to do with the sense ability it is referring to. Now I’m going to list these terms and give their definitions.

Hear: Clairaudience

This is the ability of your inner sense to hear words or noises in your mind and thoughts. Hearing communication can happen in words and/or sounds. Talk to them in your mind by thinking your words. Then hear the response to you in your thoughts.

See: Clairvoyance

This is the ability of your inner sense to see visions, pictures, words, and stories unfolding. If beings do not seem to understand your words, send them pictures to explain things. Direct your attention to him and think of a picture that will illustrate your point. You can picture it over and over to repeat the message.

If you receive an image as a message, it is usually seen with your mind’s eye—like how you can picture your baseball glove or a slice of pizza even when you are not holding it.

If you send or get a picture, remember that some beings usually understand and take these images in their literal form, not in their symbolic form. Literal means exactly what the image is: a horseshoe means a horseshoe. Symbolic means that the image could be a symbol for something, like a horseshoe could be a symbol for good luck.

Feel, Physical: Clairsensation

This is when you feel or sense in or on your body, a physical sensation that has occurred without anything or anyone physically touching you. This form of information tends to be about a situation—it is not how a being is actually feeling physically. Because once you actually feel how they are feeling in your own body, you are having a Shared-Sensory Experience or making an Empathic Connection. (More on those later.)

Some people get an uplifted feeling in their body: maybe their heart feels warm or they get goose bumps, or they have a good feeling in their gut. All these sensations may be telling them that a decision is good, they can trust someone, they are headed in the right direction, or the information they are sharing is right. Some people actually feel a physical pull or push that comes out of nowhere encouraging them to do something. Conversely, some people might get a bad feeling in their gut or an overall feeling of dread that something is not going to go well or that something should be avoided. Paying attention to these physical sensations helps them decide what to do.

Feel, Emotional: Clairsentiment

This is when no one is around and you feel emotions that don’t belong to you. This one is about emotional feelings, not physical feelings—it’s not really used to determine how a person or an animal is feeling emotionally. Because once you feel in your own body how he is feeling in his, you are having a Shared-Sensory Experience or making an Empathic Connection. (More on those later.) And don’t forget, if you ask “How are you feeling emotionally?” and let’s say they tell you they are sad, you are actually hearing the information—that’s clairaudience.

There are some people that feel “leftover” emotions in a room long after the people feeling them have gone. That’s a clairsentiment perception.

Taste: Clairgustance

This is the ability of your inner sense to use taste as a way of communication.

Smell: Clairolfaction

This is the ability of your inner sense to smell things that are not physically present. And as the other forms of connection, you are often the only one in the room that can smell the scent.

2. Shared-Sensory Experience (S.S.E.)

This is the ability to share all the senses of a being’s experience as he is experiencing them, or for him to share yours. You can do this because your thoughts, ideas, and feelings are energies that permeate your entire physical body. In essence, you join with them energetically-you get the information from an insider’s perspective because you are sharing the same psychic space. When you do this you experience their life from their perspective, if only for a moment. The closest way to explain this is to say that you shift your awareness to them with the intention of knowing or sharing their experience.

This can happen by accident and on purpose. Either way, one of you is able to understand what the other one is experiencing, firsthand, while he is experiencing it.

It is called Shared-Sensory Experience because you both receive the sensory data at the same time. One of you has the experience directly; the other shares the experience through a psychic connection. When you do this you sometimes feel like you are in his head or in his body. In that moment, you are one.

To communicate by Shared-Sensory Experience, you focus on the being. It happens automatically just by your intention of wanting to know what he hears, what he sees, or what he’s going through. It is as if you are pulled into their experience, firsthand, to share it with them, if only for a minute, to get the message.

Once you come out of it, you need to make sure that you energetically disconnect. Otherwise your head can feel a bit fuzzy, like you are sleepy. The feeling should last only long enough for you to get the message. If it lasts longer, you need to bring your awareness back to yourself and concentrate on your own feelings, disconnecting and grounding your energy.

Typical to the sensation you get when you just wake out of a dream and you’re lying in bed, and you’re still not fully alert. That is because your mind has wandered into your dream and you are—quite literally—spaced out. It’s a similar sensation when your mind’s awareness has wandered off to connect psychically. So, when this happens, it may be helpful to put your hands on the top of your head, sit down on the ground, steady yourself, and really feel connected deep in the earth. Take a deep breath and imagined your whole body full of air, and then imagine pushing that light-headed energy and air into the earth.

This is what psychic’s call disconnecting and then grounding your energy. These are essential steps while using the psychic senses. It’s important to energetically disconnect from the being you are connecting with. The way to do that is to turn your attention elsewhere and back onto yourself. This helps you go from focusing on connecting with them to focusing back on you and your body.

Where S.S.P. is from an outsider’s perspective, S.S.E. is from an insider’s perspective.

Similar to a Shared-Sensory Experience is an Empathic Connection. You get information in both these ways by sharing the energy space of another.

3. Empathic Connection

Empathy means to have sympathy or compassion for another. This is because we are able to experience in our imagination through our intellectual thought process what another being is going through. But as a psychic experience, empathy in an Empathic Connection is literally felt because it is experienced on a soul level and not just an intellectual one. In other words, you don’t just understand what someone is going through; you know because you can feel it or comprehend it personally, as if it is happening to you too.

While a Shared-Sensory Experience allows you to share and therefore be aware of all of the other being’s experience, making an Empathic Connection is more selective.

With this form of getting information, people have a direct experience of the physical feelings, emotional feelings, or intellectual state of another. It allows you to experience things from another’s perspective. An Empathic Connection allows you to learn what he is feeling physically or emotionally, and what or how he is thinking—in other words, his thought process.

However, this does not inform you why they are feeling or thinking this way. To answer the question of why, you have to use other psychic skill sets.

An Empathic Connection occurs when people unknowingly or knowingly share their energy with another to experience the other person or animal’s physical, emotional, intellectual state, or all three.

Physical Empathic Connection

Feel, Physical: Empathic Clairsensation

This is the ability to share another’s energy so you can experience the other’s physical state. Sharing their energy field like this helps you know what is going on with them physically. This can happen on purpose or not. And some people don’t even know they are doing it when they do. Instead, they are affected by another’s physical state, thinking that what they are physically experiencing actually belongs to them and not someone else.

To kick-start this ability with your intention to know, simply ask, “What are you feeling?” Trust the first physical feeling that you get. It can be as subtle as a fleeting feeling, or it can stay with you until you shake it off, disconnect, or turn your attention elsewhere.

Emotional Empathic Connection

Feel, Emotional: Empathic Clairsentiment

This is the ability to share another’s energy field specifically so that you can experience the other’s emotional state. Sharing their energy field like this helps you know what is going on with them emotionally. This can happen on purpose or unintentionally. Some people don’t even know they are doing it when they do. Instead, they are affected by another’s emotions, thinking that what they are feeling actually belongs to them and not someone else.

One way to receive the sense of feeling is to ask them in your mind, “How are you feeling?” Then pay attention to the emotion that you feel in your own body. As with all of these, intention is the key here.

In this situation you are feeling their feelings. Not feeling through their feelings. Feeling through their feelings would be: Shared-Sensory Experience. Again when you are finished, disconnecting from their energy is paramount.

Intellectual Empathic Connection

Thought: Empathic Clairpensée

This is the ability to share another’s energy specifically so you can experience the other’s intellectual state. This helps you understand his thought process. This can happen on purpose or unintentionally. Here too, some people don’t even know they are doing it when they do.

4. Non-Sensory Awareness

This is the ability to know or realize something without knowing how or why you know it—you just do. There is no sense involved, so it is a Non-Sensory Awareness.

Know: Claircognizance, Intuition

Another word for claircognizance, and more common, is intuition. There is no rational thought involved; the information or knowledge comes immediately. And it comes to you without any inner or outer sense involved. Much to my displeasure, people inaccurately use the word intuition.

Hope this gives you a solid foundation on some very key terminology, helping you to differentiate how you get your information when communicating soul-to- soul!

Peace,

Constance
